Kardashian/Jenner's -- Style Icons of the year

We all have to keep up with the Kardashian's when it comes to fashion! Boy, are they the talk of the town! You can literally look at every magazine and they will be on the face of it. Well.. they are reality tv stars so you can expect that but they are also fashion icons! Ladies as much as we want to stay away from them, you know you want to kinda own everything in their closets.. Right?

Most of us teenagers want to dress like Kylie and Kendall.. and most of the older ladies wish they could be in the shoes of Kim K. 

Here are some of their most memorable outfits from 2015

These were Kim's outfits for Grammy weekend 2015... She compliments both theses Balmain outfits sooo well with there new haircut and stunning body. I mean I just can't take my eyes of her in the second picture.. Like Kanye who? Just Kidding. I still have love for Yeezy! 

So Kylie Jenner had her first run way walk for Kanye West Adidas Fashion Show "Yeezy" and she looked pretty stunning... I mean she is 18 years old and got to be in the front of the Fashion show. Who wishes they were in her shoes? ME!

Lastly, Kendall Jenner.. I mean she is a model so you don't expect her to leave the house without looking fabulous .. but come on even on her days off work her street style is amazing and something we all can try and wear.

A must have for winter/spring.. here's 4 ways to wear a Blanket Scarves!

It snow joke we want winter to go and spring to start, but one thing in common in these seasons are blanket scarves! Everyone needed one for the winter to cover up and now you can stylize it for Spring 2015.

In my video I will show you how to use the scarf in 4 styles that can match any outfit! Sorry it it my first time making a blog video, so please allow my mistakes. BTW..The first style I show you guys is the SHAWL style not poncho!

Str33t Styl3 -- Everyday Essentials

What do you think is the best street style of 2015? As a fashionista, I can tell you some of the things that aren't going out of fashion and are your go-to's for everyday outfits!

Firstly, the Plaid Pattern.. being shirts, corp tops, scarves, pants, skirts you name it. Plaid really hasn't left since the trend came in 2009-2010, but now you can over do it by doing plaid on plaid on plaid and it works! I really don't think there is such a thing as over doing it with plaid, because you can mix and match patterns and still make it look classy.

Secondly, Leather Jacket's & Vests.. the greasers lifestyle is still here! Biker look? Yes. All you need in life is a leather jacket to last you all fall on those chilly nights. Leather jackets are perfect for that biker-chic look. Like Alexa and Daisy pull off two different looks, you can go with jeans and a shirt and put a black leather jacket on OR you can choose to put it on a dress and still have the same affect!

Lastly, DENIM ON DENIM.. now it's not the Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears kind of style i'm talking about lol. That was a classic though. You can really do a lot of denim, like in my previous blog about boyfriend jeans, if you topped that with a denim jacket, white tee and pair of red heels you are on your way out. RiRi is the best example denim on denim.. she simply looked stunning at the NBA All Star game.  JLo on the other hand, a denim shirt with fitted denim jeans showing off her curves did justice to this trend swell.

I'm DEFINATELY going to try out this look because I've always thought it looked good to put the same fabric together. I will make my outfit more casual by wearing a light denim shirt with light jeans and converse shoes and maybe top it with a leather jacket.

Remember when we were a kid and we always wanted to get tatted up either putting stickers everywhere or drawing on ourselves and our parents would yell at us because it was really bad for our skin. Ya, I think we all do! Well, temporary tattoo's are back in style better then ever!

"Henna is considered sacred work, and a form of worship in many diverse cultures such as Indian, Middle Eastern countries and Africa" (Ragani Harris, 2002). In the Indian and Pakistani culture, Henna (Mehndi) is used at weddings and on religious holiday such as Eid. There are many delicate designs that can be made either simple or very complex and detailed. Henna usually lasts for about 1- 3 weeks depending on many times you wash it off and where it is located. This trend became very popular recently as it like wearing a different tattoo every month, that you also don't have to hide from your parents!

Now, heres something for those people just want a one day tattoo! METALLIC TATTOO'S! Yes there is such a thing, and it's so easy to put on anywhere and everywhere. You can literally bring your look  from an 8 to a 10 with these temporary tattoo's. They are the perfect accessory to wear on a day at the beach or on a night of chilling. Now the only sad part is, they come of after you shower or if you accidentally rub it off. Here are some of the styles that are very popular:

I'm in love with my boyfriend... Jeans!

I know you all thought I was going to sit here talking about my boyfriend, but NO I got some fashion advice for y'all. So I'm sure you've seen some celebrities walking the streets looking all comfy but so trendy in their boyfriend jeans. Well that's the new go-to trend of 2015! BF jeans are jeans for ladies that fit tight around the waist and baggy on the legs just like how guys wear it. The jeans don't have to be your boyfriend's but if you did just happen to "borrow" them from him you're winning big time! The best part of BF jeans is you can dress it up and make it a formal look or you can dress down and wear it like a tomboy. Here are some of the outfits that celebrities put together with BF Jeans!

Here's Kylie Jenner's outfit with the distressed denim boyfriend jeans. She makes super baggy jeans look so comfy and stylish as she tops with it a stripped crop top showing off her summer body and high-top converse shoes. You can rock this outfit on days where you don't have much to do but run errands or chill with friends. This gets me super excited about summer, I don't know about you guys!

Rihanna styled boyfriend jeans with a glitter crop top and a pair of heels making her outfit very formal and dressy. She topped it with a nice silvery clutch. This is the way to go if you want to be comfy and stylish and doesn't even take much effort!

Now for that tomboy-ish look that I would want to wear every chance that I got because really, who doesn't want to be comfortable. I'm always jealous of how easy it for guys to dress up so easily, and now ladies we have easy too! Here is Nicole Richie working the oversized boyfriend jeans for NewYork Fashion Week:

If only I could pull it off like her, but seriously.... SHE does justice to the Boyfriend Jeans style. Wearing to fashion week, where people are all about tight dresses showing off as much skin Nicole made a statement as she didn't show much skin and pulled off this casual but edgy outfit. 

Writing this blog got me really excited about summer, and i'm already planning out outfits with my boyfriend jeans! My favourite thing about BF jeans are you can be so comfortable wearing them without looking like a slouch and underdressed. That is every girls dream!

Oscars 2015 - Best Dressed!

It's the most wonderful time of the year! The 87th Academy Awards where we get inspiration for fashion and get to see celebrities show off the latest trends in the fashion industry. Last night, as I watched the red carpet unroll oh boy! were there some beautiful ladies in some beautiful dresses walking down! With so many elegant dresses it was very hard for me to bring it down to top 3... BUT I did and here is what I came up with:

Firstly, Jennifer Aniston in this stunning beige Versace dress. Only Jennifer with her flawless figure could compliment this simple dress and just flaunt her young self!

My favourite Emma Stone, couldn't have looked any cuter/prettier as she walked the carpet. Literally, AMAZING! She wore a yellow-ish custom Ellie Saab dress, who is a popular designer choice amongst other celebrities this year as well, which complimented her hair colour so well. The attention to the details on this gown, in terms of beading and embroidery, shows delicacy and glows just like her personality.

And then there was Dakota Johnson who wore a red dress on the red carpet but she pulled it off like no other! As a lot of people wore white, black, gold Dakota rocked the red looking young and so elegant. She wore a simple red from Saint Laurent with a sparkling embellishments strap on one side.

As hard as it was to decide, I think these beautiful ladies looked simple and stunning while making such a great impact on the Academy Awards Red Carpet this year! So i'm going to pass it on to you guys and see who you thought was best dressed from last nights show?!
